AUGUSTA, Ga. — A pursuit involving a stolen utility vehicle ended Saturday afternoon, March 14th, with the arrest of a suspect after the vehicle being towed fell from a trailer during the chase.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were asked to assist the North Augusta Department of Public Safety after authorities began tracking a stolen side-by-side utility vehicle believed to be in Augusta.
Deputies later located the stolen side-by-side being pulled on a trailer by a green Toyota Tacoma traveling along Central Avenue. When deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the driver refused to stop and fled, leading deputies on a pursuit…
