Believe in Belvedere Community Fair provides mental health resources

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Aiken County community members received resources to help them improve their health on Saturday.

Bel-Ridge Baptist Church’s Believe in Belvedere Community Fair provided mental health resources to those who may not be able to get access to them otherwise.

A drive-by shooting in Louisville left one victim dead Friday, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

“Bringing mobile resources into the community so they can make those connections, we have seniors, we have folks who don’t have transportation to Aiken or Augusta, so it gives them a safe space at the church and meet people who can meet their needs,” said Chris Wyatt, event organizer…
