WRENS, Ga. (WKRC) – A mother was allegedly granted bond while facing charges of murder in connection to the suffocation deaths of her two infants who died 3 years apart.
According to a release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, 21-year-old Dakota Taylor was arrested in November 2025 following the death of her 8-month-old child. Taylor was already in prison for a separate murder investigation that also involved the death of a young child, the department said.
The other death occurred in 2021 and involved Taylor’s 7-month-old child, according to information obtained by People. The 7-month-old’s cause of death was not determined until the death of Taylor’s 8-month-old, who was determined to have died from a lack of oxygen that caused “excessive physical and mental pain,” according to a grand jury arrest warrant obtained by the outlet.
