The Aiken County Government hosted a Tree Planting Demonstration on the first day of spring with help from Mission Possible Homeschool Co-op and local community members. The event was supported by a grant from the Arbor Day Foundation and featured a certified arborist who shared tips on planting and caring for trees.
Participants planted six new trees, and one attendee won a Tea Olive tree to take home. The Keep Aiken County Beautiful Advisory Board and the Rotary Club of Aiken Sunrise volunteered to help make the event a success…
