COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Columbia County leaders say a bill moving to the governor’s desk could mark a major step toward property tax relief for homeowners.
House Bill 439 has passed both the Georgia House of Representatives and the Georgia State Senate and is now headed to Gov. Brian Kemp’s desk for final consideration.
Construction is still on schedule and on budget for the new downtown Augusta arena.
