MIDVILLE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – An overnight structure fire in Burke County claimed the life of one person, officials say.
Burke County Firefighters arrived on the scene of a single-story home on Kay Street in Midville at 11:21 p.m. Wednesday, with reports of heavy smoke showing, authorities say.
Multiple engine companies worked to get the fire under control.
