3 teens arrested after robbery, shooting in Columbia County

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A planned teen meetup to buy THC vape cartridges in Columbia County turned violent Friday evening when an alleged robbery sparked gunfire in the Hidden Creek neighborhood, leaving two teens wounded and three teens in custody, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened shortly after 6 p.m. on Crenshaw Drive.

Authorities say six teenagers, including Ahmed Garnett, 16, and Ethan Moss, 16, arranged to meet Santrez Hall Jr. for the purchase of THC vape cartridges. Investigators said Garnett and Moss had secretly planned to rob Hall during the meeting, while the other teens did not know about the plan beforehand.

According to officials, Garnett and Moss approached Hall’s vehicle, and Moss grabbed the cartridges; the two then ran back to the car they had arrived in. Investigators said Hall then pulled in behind that vehicle and fired five rounds…
