AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – 2 suspects are in custody following an armed robbery and brief pursuit, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 10:50 a.m., deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store at 3258 Wrightsboro Rd., according to the sheriff’s office.
While canvassing the area, they located a vehicle connected to the robbery and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit, officials said.
The vehicle was eventually stopped, and the 2 suspects were taken into custody…
