Law enforcement boosts presence around Murphey Middle School

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Law enforcement is increasing its presence around Murphey Middle School after multiple reports of children being approached along nearby walking routes.

In the latest case, a Murphey student was approached Tuesday by an adult who asked inappropriate questions while the student was walking to school along Olive Road.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta will get a donation of 100 refurbished laptops on Wednesday.
