Past champion ‘not feeling amazing’ ahead of 2026 Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. — It was a lonely stroll on the first nine at Augusta National Golf Club for Sergio Garcia on Monday.

The 2017 Masters champion played nine holes by himself amongst the swaying pine trees and undulating fairways. He spent some time talking to fans, had a lot of words with his caddie and seemed to be searching for something.

“Not super happy at the moment, but we’re working, and we’ll see,” Garcia said of his game. “We’ll see what happens throughout the week. Yeah, at the moment I’m not feeling amazing.”…
