90th Masters Tournament | Monday updates

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – It’s Monday at the Masters.

Today, the quest for the Green Jacket begins as practice rounds start for the 2026 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club.

On the Sunday prior to the Tournament, previous Champions can play a practice round and invite a guest. Among those getting an early start was two-time Champion Scottie Scheffler, who joined Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players with 20 PGA Tour titles and four majors before turning 30 when he won at LaQuinta in January.

“I mean, any time you can get mentioned with those guys it means you’re doing some stuff right,” Scheffler said. “At the end of the day it’s not something that will occupy many of my thoughts day-to-day. I don’t spend too much time thinking about milestones or anything like that.”…
