Augusta Homeowner Charged After Shooting at Suspects During Attempted Car Break-In

AUGUSTA, Ga. — A homeowner is facing charges after firing at three suspected car burglars outside his home early Monday morning, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded around 2:55 a.m. on April 6 to the 2300 block of Bishop Way in South Augusta following reports of gunfire.
