The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office took a barricaded suspect in the murder of a 4-year-old into custody following an hours-long incident early Saturday in the 2000 block of Division Street in Augusta.
Deputies attempted around midnight to locate a suspect wanted in connection with a child murder investigation, noted the sheriff’s office.
Niomi Rose, 4, of Hephzibah, was pronounced dead at a little after midnight, according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen. She died from blunt force trauma. An autopsy has been scheduled…
