CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Augusta University women’s track & field competed at the Lee Fast Break Athletics Invitational April 10-11, highlighted by a record-setting performance from freshman Gabby Jourdain in the 5,000 meters.
Jourdain shattered the all-time Peach Belt Conference record in the 5,000 meters, crossing the line in 16:55.54. Her time broke the previous conference record by more than 15 seconds and added another historic mark to Augusta’s outdoor season.
Madison Thomas also turned in a strong performance in the same event, finishing in 17:25.23. Danielle Thayer followed in 19:18.42, while Ansley Graddy (19:30.77), Swaye Mohler (19:31.95), and Lily McDonald (20:14.93) rounded out Augusta’s entries in the event…
