JACKSON, S.C. (WJBF) – The Aiken County Coroner’s Office said it recovered the body of a 54-year-old Aiken man from the Savannah River on Wednesday.
According to authorities, the office responded to the Jackson boat ramp on the Savannah River, located at 620 Landing Road in Jackson ay approximately 9:20 a.m. on April 15.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Aquatics Investigations and Recovery team divers located the man’s body “just off the dock of the boat ramp during a missing person search.”…
