AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Records from the Division of Family and Children Services is revealing new details in the death of a 4-year-old girl.
According to DFCS records, Linda Rose, the aunt and caregiver of Niomi Rose, told a case manager that the man accused of killing Niomi had been abusing her since Oct. 2025.
Collin Aaron Aber was arrested in connection to Niomi’s death on April 11 after a police chase and SWAT standoff at his father’s home.
According to DFCS, Aber hit Niomi in the mouth in March or April. Linda told Aber if he hit Niomi again, she was going to call the police…
