AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – A guilty verdict was reached and sentencing followed for the man who fatally shot a 28-year-old in Augusta back in 2024, District Attorney Jared Williams announced Thursday.
Cornelius Sims was found guilty by a jury in the killing of Wonya Malik Ryan.
