EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Lakeside High School senior received a $2,500 scholarship at the Exchange Club of Columbia County’s annual scholarship awards breakfast Wednesday morning.
Kennedy Peacock was awarded the ACE scholarship, which stands for “Accepting the Challenge of Excellence.”
The scholarship is given to a student who has overcome a great physical, emotional or social obstacle. She said her ability to push through personal challenges and stay resilient made her a strong fit for the award…
