AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Officials say last week’s brush fire along Interstate 520 is now 70% contained.
The fire started Friday afternoon and spread across 12 acres. Planes were seen using water to put out the fire. Schools were dismissed early.
