The Hive
Apartments are rising as construction continues on The Hive development in North Augusta.
Multiple buildings are already up just off Exit 1. The Hive is a mixed-use project with 343 apartment units, plus homes, retail and dining. It is expected to be complete this summer.
Bluegrass Place
The Bluegrass Place development on Martintown Road beside Monterrey Mexican Restaurant is in earlier stages.
The land is bare now but will soon be home to restaurants, 52 single-family homes, 82 townhomes and 300 apartments as well as 100 senior living facilities. It is unclear when construction will begin.
YMCA
Nearby, the new YMCA at the old Big Lots on Martintown Road shows visible progress. The name is now up and the building is painted…
