DENVER (KDVR) — An Eastern Plains town northeast of Denver had an unusual visitor this week, one that’s also been seen around the Denver metro amid warming weather.
Police in Keenesburg, a Weld County town 20 miles north of the Denver International Airport with about 2,000 residents, have received multiple reports over the past several days of a black bear sighted east of town.
“Based on the direction of travel, it appears the bear may have missed a turn somewhere around Wyoming and is now improvising,” police said in a press release…
