DIA ending reservations to skip TSA line: Here’s what to know

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver International Airport has announced it will end a free reservation system for travelers to avoid long wait times at TSA.

According to the airport’s website, the free reservation-based security system, known as DEN Reserve, will end on June 27.

DEN Reserve allowed travelers to book an appointment in advance anytime between 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers would then show up to their appointment and go through a dedicated security lane, fast-tracking the long security wait times.

DIA said the move to retire DEN Reserve is due to the opening of East and West Security Checkpoints. As a result, the airport said the reservation-based system is “no longer needed.”…
