Pedestrian killed after RTD train crash in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — A person is dead after a Regional Transportation District commuter rail crash in Denver on Saturday, according to police.

According to the Denver Police Department, officers received a report at 12:45 p.m. of a crash at 40th and Colorado Station involving an RTD A Line train and a pedestrian.

Minimal information was released, but police confirmed a person was killed in the crash.

At around 1:15 p.m., RTD said the A Line train would be replaced with shuttle buses…
