Man indicted on 82 counts after alleged burglary spree

DENVER (KDVR) — A man who allegedly committed a series of break-ins in 2024 and stole more than $40,000 has been indicted on 82 charges related to burglaries, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday.

According to the indictment, Adrian Grigg is accused of committing the break-ins at businesses along 120th, 136th, and 144th avenues in Westminster, Broomfield, Arvada, Thornton and other jurisdictions between February and November 2024. The businesses ranged from national chains like Jersey Mike’s and Crumbl to local Japanese restaurants and food trucks.

During the course of the break-ins, Grigg allegedly stole about $42,000 in both money and property, including safes, tablets and even a generator from the businesses. He would typically break into the businesses at night or after the businesses had closed.

Grigg also accumulated about $77,000 in property damage, according to the indictment. In many of the burglaries, windows and doors had been smashed in to gain entry…
