Damage reported in northeast Colorado as tornado-warned storms move through

DENVER (KDVR) — Severe storms on Wednesday prompted a tornado watch, along with warnings in parts of northeast Colorado.

The Pinpoint Weather team has been tracking the storms, issuing a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day for Wednesday. The storms are capable of bringing damaging winds, large hail and possible tornadoes through the areas.

Denver weather: Pinpoint Weather Alert Day on Wednesday for severe storms

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch until 11 p.m. for east-central and southeast Colorado, which includes Adams, Arapahoe and Weld counties, and the Eastern Plains.

The storms are expected to continue through Wednesday evening.

Early Wednesday evening, the NWS issued tornado warnings as storms moved through Logan, Morgan, and Washington counties.
