DENVER (KDVR) – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) says that the left lane in both directions on a strip of I-76 is closed due to police activity.
According to the COtrip website, the closure is on the left lane of I-76 eastbound and westbound from 120th Avenue to 136th Avenue.

The Brighton Police Department confirmed that officers responded to a crash at the scene. Colorado State Patrol said that a trooper attempted a traffic stop around 8:42 p.m.; however, the vehicle, a Ford F-150, didn’t pull over and exited before returning to the road.
According to CSP, the trooper initially pulled back due to traffic; however, the trooper then pursued the truck, performing a Tactical Vehicle Intervention that led to the F-150 flipping onto its roof. The driver and two passengers were hospitalized with unknown injuries…
