About 25 miles southwest of Denver, a park sits where the Great Plains run headlong into the Rocky Mountain foothills, and the result is something most Coloradans drive past without realizing it exists.

Roxborough State Park covers close to 4,000 acres of red rock formations, wildlife corridors, and trails that range from a flat morning stroll to a full-day climb.
