Denver could get its second In-N-Out Burger outpost as part of a new, 74-acre development near the Denver International Airport.
A concept plan filed with the city contemplates locating a new restaurant at 17600 56th Ave., a largely undeveloped parcel of land off Pena Boulevard on the route to DIA, and the popular burger chain has acknowledged it is interested in the site.
“We hope to open a new restaurant at 17600 E. 56th Avenue in Denver,” Matt Loevenguth, director of real estate, said in an emailed statement. “However, we are still in the development application process, so it’s too early to say if or when we will obtain the approvals necessary to open a restaurant there. We remain hopeful about being able to serve the Denver community with this additional location.”…
