Popular Mexican restaurant set to reopen Littleton location after kitchen fire

DENVER (KDVR) — A local Mexican restaurant is reopening one of its locations this week after being forced to close earlier this year because of a kitchen fire.

The closure gave Los Dos Potrillos a chance to return to its roots, however, as it opens its doors in Littleton on Thursday with a renovated space built on tradition.

“Littleton has always held a special place in our hearts,” said Daniel Ramirez, CEO of Ramirez Hospitality Group. “The support we received from this community — and from the first responders who were there when we needed them most — meant everything to our team. Los Dos Potrillos is known for its Mexican comfort food, award-winning house-brewed beers and a specialty cocktail menu, and its Littleton location at 10065 West San Juan Way will now also be known for its new design to make it “feel like coming home.”…
