Aurora holds its annual Day of Resilience on July 25 to honor those killed in the 2012 theater mass shooting, bringing people together with art, activities and a 5K run.
The free event, which will happen at Aurora’s Water-Wise Garden, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, from 7:30 a.m. to noon, brings together survivors, families, first responders and community members for a day of “remembrance, wellness and unity,” according to a news release.
