DENVER (KDVR) — Showers and storms are headed to the Denver metro area Thursday afternoon, prompting increased warnings from officials for threats of flash flooding.
The Pinpoint Weather team is watching chances for storms across the area this afternoon, and several state agencies have issued notices for potential flooding.
The Mile High Flood District, a state-created service to assist Denver metro area governments with flood management, posted an alert on Thursday morning warning that several parts of the metro area and northern Colorado have increased threat levels for flooding.
