DENVER — A historic downtown Denver office building once poised to receive millions in public incentives for a residential conversion has hit the market following a foreclosure.
The Symes Building, at 820 16th St., was listed for sale as a bank-owned foreclosure and redevelopment opportunity with “complete vacancy.” Canyon Law, a listing agent for Kenai Capital Advisors, which is acting on behalf of owner Thorofare Capital, stated that the last tenant vacated in March, leaving the building empty.
