DENVER (KDVR) — In a press release on Friday, the Denver Police Department announced that a suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting that left one person dead and another injured on July 19.
On July 19, around 9:19 a.m., Denver police received reports about a shooting in the 1100 block of North Columbine Street.

When officers arrived, they located two men who had been shot. The victims were taken to the hospital, where one man would later be pronounced dead. The other victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
