Authorities in Jefferson County arrested a married couple in a homicide linked to a hit-and-run in Littleton.
Police said the incident began around 10:30 p.m. Saturday near South Santa Fe Drive and West Belleview Avenue in Littleton when a blue Ford truck allegedly struck a white BMW SUV. The passenger of the BMW, Corryn Alexis Simpson, 26, called 911 to report the hit-and-run, police said.
Simpson told dispatch she and her husband, 25-year-old Steven Cole Simpson, were following the truck; the 911 dispatcher told them to stop following the truck, but police said they continued to do so. Steven Simpson was heard on the call making a threatening statement before gunshots were heard…
