A “possible security threat” that prompted the closure of Denver International Airport’s Level 6 West has been cleared, airport officials said at 6:41 p.m.
The Denver police bomb squad responded after a K9 alerted to an unattended bag in the terminal, airport officials said. The area — including the west security checkpoint and departures area — were evacuated and closed “out of an abundance of caution” while the investigation was underway.
