The town of Bow Mar is continuing with its controversial plan to gate off public roads through its community — and it’s hiring a PR firm and lawyers to help.
At a meeting on Monday, the town’s board voted to retain Sweetbaum Miller PC and attorney Alan Sweetbaum as “special counsel in connection with legal matters related to the Town’s gate project.”
The town of 900 has been working for months to install automated gates that would block non-residents at some of its entrances, including on the far south end of Sheridan Boulevard.
