Dolly Parton leaves lasting legacy in Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) — On Tuesday, country music icon Dolly Parton’s family announced that she passed away at the age of 80.

One of the most recognizable people in the country, her impact quickly escaped the bounds of music and expanded into unprecedented territories. She found herself filming in Hollywood, making major business deals and doing plenty of philanthropic work, all while keeping her love for music and recording 50 studio albums.
