DENVER (KDVR) — Greeley police have identified two suspects in connection with a statue that was stolen from Glenmere Park in May, the Greeley Police Department announced in a press release on Thursday afternoon.
Police identified two Commerce City men as suspects in the case:
- 35-year-old Dustin Bueno
- 47-year-old Danny Lovato
Bueno faces charges, including:
- Felony theft
- Felony providing false information to a pawn broker
- Misdemeanor criminal mischief
- Misdemeanor theft
Lovato faces charges, including:
- Felony theft
- Misdemeanor criminal mischief
- Misdemeanor theft
The two are accused of stealing “The Prize Catch,” a 150-pound statue from Glenmere Park and attempting to pawn it. Rocky Mountain Recycling in Commerce City recognized the missing statue and reported it to police.
