The person killed when a pickup truck driver drove onto the sidewalk in Old Town Fort Collins during Tour de Fat has been identified.
The crash occurred just before noon Aug. 29 in front of Walrus Ice Cream on Mountain Avenue, where the truck struck multiple pedestrians before hitting a tree. Joshua Robert Douglass, 33, of Denver, was killed in the crash, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office said Sept. 1. His death was ruled accidental from multiple blunt force injuries.
