SHERIDAN, Colo. (KDVR) – 29-year-old Sheridan Police Officer Brian Ramirez was born in Puerto Rico, and his mom was a colonel in the United States Army.

“She got stationed at Ft. Carson and retired there, so I kind of moved with her,” Ramirez said.
Her service inspired him to be a police officer. Ramirez worked at the Department of Corrections, the Denver Sheriff’s Department and the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office before joining the Sheridan Police Department.
