DENVER (KDVR) — Three people were injured in a shooting near the Denver School of the Arts, the Denver Police Department reported in a social media post on Wednesday morning.
The shooting took place in the 2000 block of North Onedia Street, which is only one block away from the school.
10 to 12 cars damaged after driver ramps off median
Denver School of the Arts was under a secure perimeter, stating that the incident occurred outside the school building.
The school provided an update that the secure perimeter has been lifted and students had a late start. A controlled entry was implemented, with students required to show a student ID to get into the school.
All three people shot were taken to the hospital with an unknown extent of injuries…
