Thornton family left without home, medical equipment and car after fire

THORNTON, Colo. (KDVR) — A Thornton family said they were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs after a fire tore through their condo complex Friday night.

The condo building, near West 88th Avenue and Huron Street in Thornton, is now marked with signs warning that it is unsafe for occupancy as residents grapple with what to do next.
