Residents near the 2200 block of South Oakland Way in Aurora were told to shelter in place Friday night after police responded to reports of a man in crisis. The order, issued just after 11 pm, asked neighbors to stay inside, follow any instructions from officers who came to their doors, and comply with reverse 911 alerts sent to the area.
