DENVER — Neighbors in Northeast Denver feel like they’re bearing the brunt of the city’s homelessness response.
This comes as Denver plans to convert a former halfway house, which was purchased by the city last year, into a 20-family shelter.
That site, at 4280 Columbine St., is just one mile from another proposed homeless shelter, still in the planning phase.
