A $150,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect accused of robbing a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier in a Denver neighborhood.
The armed robbery happened on Monday after 5 p.m. on North Clay Street west of downtown, according to investigators. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the robbery to contact investigators.
The National Association of Letter Carriers says the robbery comes amid continued concerns about attacks on postal workers. According to the union, 22 letter carriers have been assaulted in Colorado over the past three years.
