AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — The Aurora Public School District said it is improving the way it tracks students riding school buses, launching a pilot program designed to improve safety and communication.

“I expect them to be safe and accounted for,” said one parent who expressed concern to the district after her daughter was dropped off at the wrong location.
The parent said that on Aug. 25, her daughter got on the school bus at the pick-up hub at Park Lane Elementary to go to the Clara Brown Entrepreneurial Academy; however, she said the driver ended up taking her to the Aurora Quest K-8 school on 2nd Avenue, over 20 minutes away.
