A 48-year-old Colorado man is facing a long list of charges after driving his truck on a local golf course and then leading police on a low-speed chase.
Cheyenne Police Spokeswoman Alex Farkas says the incident started around 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, when police got a call about a truck driving on the golf course at the Cheyenne Country Club at 800 Stinner Road.
Driver Charged Through Golf Course Fence
When police got there, the suspect vehicle, a blue GMC Sierra, drove through a fence and left the golf course. The driver, later identified as Gust Martinez of Lakewood, Colorado, refused to stop for police and continued driving south on Randall Avenue.
