DENVER (KDVR) — Two people were arrested Tuesday after Broomfield officers said they found over 84 grams of methamphetamine hidden under a vehicle’s center console near a King Soopers.
According to the Broomfield Police Department, officers patrolling the area of West 120th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard noticed a vehicle with a shattered windshield near the King Soopers. Police said they also believe someone tampered with the steering wheel.

Broomfield police said a man and a woman walking out of the store allegedly tried to flee when they saw the officers, but officers later caught up to them.
Police later found over 84g of methamphetamine concealed under the vehicle’s center console, according to the department.
Officers then arrested the man and the woman, who were booked into the Broomfield Detention Center on a “multitude of charges,” the department said.
