Colorado-based jet charter service accused of Ponzi-like scheme in lawsuit

DENVER (KDVR) — A private jet charter service based out of Colorado faces numerous lawsuits alleging it has been running a Ponzi-like scheme after it abruptly paused operations.

ONEFlight International is based out of the Denver area, specifically in Englewood. According to an archive of the company’s website, it was launched in 2010 to “change the industry by reducing the cost of flying private jets.”

The company, according to three separate lawsuits, is withholding at least $150 million from its customers after its decision to pause operations. Each lawsuit specifically outlined allegations around contract breaches and fraudulent inducements.

The company’s website, as of Thursday at 5 p.m., has a message stating it is “pausing all flight activity for the next 30 days, or until further notice, while we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our current operations and status.”

There are three separate lawsuits against the company and its founder and CEO, Ferren Rajput, all alleging fraud and breaches of contract relating to the company’s suspension of operations…
