Feel-good campaign can’t fix what Dems have wrought | Dick Wadhams

A group of highly respected business leaders is funding a well-intentioned $2.5 million public relations campaign entitled “Denver. The Best Return on Life” to change Denver’s image after years of decline.

As admirable as this effort is, it cannot overcome the regulatory and tax-raising assaults on businesses and jobs during the past eight years under absolute, total Democratic control of state government.

The Colorado Chamber of Commerce says 98 companies have left the state or changed their plans to come to the state since 2019.  The corporate headquarters of 34 companies have left the state and 13,000 jobs have been lost.

Colorado recently fell to 25th in CNBC’s ranking of “Top States for Business,” down from 11th.  The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce says this decline results from “poor policy choices.”…
